G. B. Lamar papers, 1862-1872.

This collection contains currency from the Confederate States of America and Milledgeville, Georgia from 1862 to 1864 that belonged to G. B. Lamar. Also included are Lamar's returned checks from 1867 to 1872 and a United States Court of Claims deposition for Lamar to report to their office on 5 April 1872 to discuss his suit against the federal government for the cotton he lost during the American Civil War.
